The School of Modern Languages and Cultures seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Russian as part of the ongoing process of redevelopment of its Russian Department. The successful candidate will have completed or be close to completing a PhD in a relevant area, will have demonstrated the ability to produce research of the highest calibre, and be able to teach aspects of Russian language and culture at all levels. Applications are invited from candidates with research and teaching interests in any area or period of Russian studies. The appointment will commence from 1 October 2009.
